anybody outhere remember Aldridge transport in stubbers green rd ,I think they used to pull out of the delta at goscote they were red with no name on them,they ran six wheelers a scania 82 merc possibly 2421 Volvo f86 and aec mashall,the yard and house is still there as anybody any pictures of these lorries or know what happaened to the company.
They were red cabbed and black bodies if I remember right, no names or anything because they carried copper and it was from Elkingtons in Goscote, I don’t know too much about them but the trucks disappeared from the land many years ago, I think the old cottage is up for sale now too.
