Through the Aldi website.

It’s quite a lengthy application form though with some daft questions.

I asked at their head office in Swindon about becoming a driver when I was agency as I got tired of agency work their reply was I would have to go through the agency they use [cd recruitment]as a temp to perm, didnt fancy another agency so did not bother

Nice one ta andi

Hope you watched Ben the hgv driver in the short video. What he says is true. You have to manouvre the car park when its full of customers and they do nothing to help your day so make sure you are confident with your driving skills. You will find most stores you will be reversing blindside so get some practise in.Some stores are better than others but most require a lot of patience.Night shift is easier of course.
Some stores keep their little warehouse tidy but do not expect a lot of space and expect to spend time making yourself space. Most are untidy and need clearing before you deliver. Dont forget that you will be loading your truck as well as unloading it and even wrapping your pallets sometimes. All done with electric trucks. Ride on double pallet at DC, walk behind at store.
All that said they are ok to work for and they understand your problems, you are not pushed and allowed to complete your work as conditions dictate.
They pay £15+ph and you are guaranteed, I think, its 172hours per month give or take a few hours regardless of what hours you do. Anything over is overtime. You can rack up a good wage if you want. Good kit, legal running, decent holidays and time off if you need it.
Remember you dont just drive and wait to get unloaded/loaded you do it yourself. Plenty of physical work that will at least keep the belly flat and heart working.Lots of tricky manouvering on day shift. If you got a short fuse its not for you. Good luck with your application.

Forgot to add. A lot less regimented than Tesco,Sainsburys, Morrisons et al.
