Aldi Apprenticeship

Hi all,

I have applied for the Aldi Driver’s apprenticeship and have my assessment day next month. I’m just wondering if anyone on here has any experience doing something like this.
I have worked in retail management and have warehouse experience in Supermarket so hopefully that will play in my favour.

I’ve also wanted to get my HGV licence for a long time every since speaking to the drivers when I used to work at Sainsburys and hearing how much money they were on.

Are there conditions on how long you must work for Aldi after training?

The website says £316 per week and £10.52 per hour. This would make it a 30 hour week. I would happily do 50+ if that was an option.

Can anyone share any experience or advice on to a Newbee like me.

Thanks for any info or advice.

I would ask that question of Aldi themselves, rather than ask here, especially since you doing an assessment with them.
No harm in doing an assessment I guess, but don’t sign up for anything until you know what it is all about.
