Whilst this does happen at festivals the above posts about Alex Lester are what it’s about. It’s listeners of his radio show at night. Just something he suggested they do.

It’s Alex Lester’s annual truck writing season, whereby night drivers write something in the dirt on their trailer doors to confuse daytime people.
Previous years’ mottoes have included SCOF, SLOGAN, WALLOP and Slap my Top.
Alex Lester lived on a narrowboat for ten years while broadcasting from the Pebble Mill studio, although I’m rarely awake to hear him, he’s a man after my own heart!

You’re obviously not driving or tuned in to radio 2 during the early hours!
Most of our deckers on cairnryan runs have this on the back thanks to a driver called Alan who listens to R2 at night
