Alan Hindle Transport Ltd. is holding an auction sale under the auspices of Malcolm Harrison at its Bolton depot on Saturday 4th October. The company is not closing down but it is a disposal sale of surplus tractive units, mainly flat trailers, step-frame trailers, and other transport related equipment. We are downsizing our operations from being a general haulier to a more specialised and focussed operation. There will also be several military vehicles in the sale including a 1945 Leyland Hippo Mk.2. fully restored to military spec. along with a 1995 Seddon Atkinson Strato 6x4 tractive unit with an ‘as new’ 11-tonne winch. It has a 14 litre ■■■■■■■■ Eaton twin-splitter and a genuine 13,000 Km from new.
