. . Whats the point ?.Surely all they do is blow dust around the cab and then it settles again.
Is it me ?
No. I find a good â– â– â– â– does the same
It’s not so bad, open both doors and dust away. Even if just relocates the dust, it gives you a fighting chance of cleaning reasonably well behind the seats etc.
I can well imagine that folk who have difficulty with walking and chewing gum at the same time would struggle with using air dusters. They’re probably the same ones who beat rugs inside their house, the rest of us surely would not struggle with the concept of opening both doors and blowing the dust out of the vehicle?

Bit harsh, but did make me laugh.
Plus you’re not a proper trucker if you haven’t got one swinging about in the windscreen, eh lads ?

A pair of old underpants and a half inch paintbrush does the job.
No need for tat.
They’re meant to blow?? I took mine back and complained that it wasn’t working as wasn’t sucking the dust up. Bugger

Agree. Just like those microfibre cloths they sell for silly money. It’s a rag at the end of the day.
They are handy things to have if your eating crisp sandwiches.
They’re also very handy during the hot, Betty swollox, weather as well (so I’ve been told )
They’re also very handy for blowing out candles on birthday cakes for lorrys.
Talking of air dusters, what is the name of the bit that screws on to a standard air tank point. I had a 50 foot tyre hose for pumping trailer tyres up from the tractor on my old Iveco Eurostar. Would like to replicate it for my shorter rigid Stralis but need that connector.

Test point adapter
Have a scroll down this thread I did a pretty exhaustive post on making various air line attachments in the workshop
