Air Compressor for Tyres Cat 3

Going to upgrade the air compressor in the workshop, original one we had was for cars, looking to upgrade it for truck tyres, to service low loader trailers (Cat 3) and the tractor units.

Any suggestions?

Rotary compressors are much quieter.

And supply constant air supply, ideal if you using inch drive air gun a lot. Mate of mine just bough a second hand Ingersoll Rand screw comp for £750.00 and he runs all the garage off it and a spray booth, can’t remember what CFM it is.

There’s somebody round Redditch area reconditions hydrovanes ,I looked & looked recently, couldn’t decide, then bought a 250 litre 3 phase machine mart / Clarke type thing off a m8 for £250 .i have a 2nd 250 litre tank in the roof via a tap for if needed .

Make sure it goes up to 150 psi.
