The Bbc news have confirmed the pilot or pilots flew the aircraft in to a steep ascent of6000 feet per minute, which is similar or more than a jet fighter plane.
He was trying to avoid bad weather and declined authority to climb from ATC.
The aircraft is not designed to climb that quickly, what the hell were they thinking ?
FREIGHTDOG,please explain their actions.
Why not maintain current flight level and turn left or right to avoid severe precipitation,if it delayed the flight, so be it,waste of fuel, so what, get there alive ?
Evidently, the airline didn’t even have permission to fly that route on that day.
I am not sure, but ice sucked in to the engines will destroy them or the aircraft stalled by climbing at an angle where the air does not support the wings.
