I wont leave the yard unless the truck is fitted with a microwave/fridge and a 42 inch plasma screen tv and playstation 3

Our trucks also come with a dictionary. Was making a comment on how the trucks are specced

A good friend of mine was an out based driver up until 2 years ago
Only left as wanted to be home every night
If you get on and work wages were monthly or 4 weekly
And was averaging then 700-8O0 take home and I saw the payslips
As I did believed home and showed me 4 months worth
It he would max his cards everyday stay legal and get up in mornings and go
Other drivers at depot he was at would struggle to do 500-550
But wouldn’t run a Sunday afternoon never stRt early or push them selves

Yes, I’m still here. We had 2 leave Derby a week or so ago. 1 had enough of mill work and the other gone back to farming.Â

Last time I was in Daf at Mackworth I saw a phone number on the door.
And heres the issue if theres goin to be one, how much experience do they request? not a newby but still 3 months off 2 yrs. 4 yrs with my class 2.
Never done tippers always ben on curtains and containers and a little bit of flat work.

Hi pal. Agri Bulk have by all accounts applied for an o licence to run out of the yard we use in Ashbourne. Mate of a mate applied for a job with them then didnt take it, god knows why. Its a 4/5 nights out a week job, between £650-£700 a week, so I really cannot understand why he didnt take it as hes cab happy at the best of times. See some of there drivers at feed mills and none of them seem stressed and the tackle they use is all top notch.
Apparently they advertised for nine drivers and got over 20 applications.
Would that be on the airfield est then ?

Not sure how many more Agribulk are gonna have based at Foston, have heard possibly 12. I know they have had loads of people ring up, I’ve had a few of My mates ask Me to put a word in for them. It took Me 3 months to get on and that was with Fat Lad recommending Me. If you want to get on the tippers, NS CLARKE at Fradley may be worth a call. I worked there for nearly 4 years before I went to Punchards, job was ok.
What about Bulk Freight.
they were on a percentage for their wage when i used to do bulk, dont know if they still are, they used to do their nut if they were at erith and the place would inevitably break down
