dont know about west yorkshire,but i was a bit slack last week.i dont think this weather is helping,as nobody is out shopping.
Only work agency on a Sunday for the last year and have never been let down yet.

Maybe they would have more success recruiting local drivers if they didn’t have the ‘must have held your licence for two years’ rule.
Good enough for them - serves them right, hope it is costing them money.
Stay away from agencies, knock on doors & do some networking & you’ll be a happier bunny as a result…

i signed with a different agency just after xmas,hoping to get the odd extra shift during the slack period,i heard nothing till 6 weeks later.
when they did finally contact me,they reckoned theyd been trying to contact me for ages and that they must have got my contact details wrong :laughing: anyway...theyve asked me to do the odd shift since,but as its usually been on friday,ive already been booked up,so i havnt been able to do it. last week (wednesday)i got a text asking me my availability for the rest of the week.i was free thursday...so i did the shift. come friday,i had nothing booked for the following week (this week) so i thought id call their bluff,and i sent them a text telling them i was available for the whole of next week (this week).

it amuses me that these kids at the recruitment agencies actually think you believe them…the phrase"too old a cat to be f****d by a kitten" springs to mind
