Agency?

He got himself into a pickle. yes. true.

But i think he showed some skill getting out of it.

I remember when I tried to do a 360 on a mini roundabout fluffed it recovered it and carried on. Noticed one guy videoing the entire 30 secs of it. No doubt trying get my face and number plate so he could get me sacked.
People wonder why no one wants to drive trucks anymore.

I wonder if it was a brother driver that videoed him and uploaded it, instead of offering to watch his blind side’

Keyboard warrior idiots are out, you don’t know what lead up to him being in that situation, could have been anything road closed, RTA, who knows. Clowns who slag him or her off ain’t got the miles under their belt yet.

i for one, would be doing my version of the dude in the link if i was where the cameraman was.
hopefully you would like to think that any driver would jump out to help and not just watch the driver struggle in the jam that he is in.
unfortunately you wouldnt know if it was anther driver or vid link ■■■■■■■■

It’s irrelevant…

What might have been coming up be it a road closure, RTA or what ever. Only a prize clown would try to spin it there.

By coincidence, there’s a video of a prize clown trying to spin an artic in a busy high street.

An inch more and the fridge would have been damaged.

If the red line had popped he’d quite possibly have been lynched by angry motorists.

I’ve probably done more miles in reverse backing across the yard than you’ve done in top cog.

No kittens were harmed, the bus full of nuns was undamaged, all the kids are still playing with their Christmas I pads. A driver fluffed his turn, fixed it and carried on. Nothing to see here.

This^^
ok he shouldn’t have tried it but he did couldn’t get round and fair play got himself out of it without any damage, like being said already we don’t what happened to get him to try and spin it where he did.
At least he didn’t hit anything not like the tesco "driver"who tried to spin it in reading (I think ) and made a Fubar of it.

…nice clutch control though??

That was “auto box lurch” if ever I’ve seen it!

That driver was only lacking two things: 1, a plan, and 2, a clue.

Sums it up the best i think

That’s the A6 going down Stockport ,not exactly a lack of other places to turn around.

Agreed Dan, Wellington Road South near Maccy D’s. He got away with it big style considering how busy it usually is at the best of times!

Agree, using the end of the railings as a turning point just because the road opens up was a daft mistake, I’m sure a little further down and he would have turned round, still in everyone’s way and inviting a video but hey ho.
The sight of those railing and lights reminded me of trying to leave Travis Perkins in Oswaldtwistle on nearly every visit, it was bad enough turning round in that yard but turning at the end of the road was a nightmare at times. If cars were on the corner you had to drive at the shops opposite, then turn hard on to the wrong side of the refuge trying not to clip cars, railing, shops and lights whilst hoping that oncoming traffic realised what you were doing and stopped.
Not on my top three most hated builders yards that I have had the pleasure of visiting though, pride of place goes to Jewsons in Chester, then Jewsons in Kendal and finally Plumb Centre on Sutton street in Stoke. I would have said Travis in Cockermouth but I think it’s shut now?
