Ta , can I ask another question did you put your notice in written or verbally , I did mine verbally but the ref they’ve emailed says current pay rate , current days worked , current assignment, as if I’m still working for them , not left .
Maybe a written letter is the way to go ?

Phone call followed by email is how I usually do it. Nothing wrong with the email they’ve sent you. It’ll be a standard form reference letter they send out to anyone who asks for one and I think you’re reading something into it that’s not there. It’s basically confirming what you’ve probably already said or are likely to say to anybody interviewing you when they ask about previous employment and experience.
The doze leaves agency shock horror, do tell the latest instalment of your life, what poor souls have the misfortune to employ you this week.

This week , I was with agency for apx 3 yrs , then no work , now working full time , I just asked agency for a ref , and as above , his current hours , current pay , current assignment, had me puzzled as it read to me as if I was still working for them , but Connor has cleared it up for me
