Got an operation coming up where I’m going to be out of the fame for about 2 months afterwards.
Is there any drivers here doing any agency work in the Swindon area who could recommend one?
Just want some odd days until I go under the knife.
Phoned a couple and they said it’s quiet but still come to register.
Just wondering if there is any temp work about.

Rapier are a good one, was with them for a while and were very good to me

Have you tried asking direct instead of via the agency route ?

I did a few months work with Aligra 3 years ago when I first passed my test , sorted me out with night trunking for Hacklings…
Not the best payers out there but I never had any issues with them …

I’ve signed up with 5 different agencies in and around Swindon and had 1 days work in the last 4 weeks. Either things are quiet or they don’t like me. Could be either

No point in going direct as mentioned in my original post.
I have an upcoming operation and it would be silly as well as unfair to start and then in a couple of months or so have 6 weeks off.
Registering at one tomorrow who said they have work and an assessment straight after in the company they want to put me in to.
We’ll see.

Staffline unless things have changed recently. They were last year anyway.
You have to do an assessment but it’s pretty straightforward. Just read your driver’s hours regs before you go
