I’ve just started agency work this week not worked agancy for years and I can go PAYE thro the agancy or an Umbrella company the Agency suggested that’s also Paye
Umbrellas should only be used in the rain, or in extreme forms of STD’s. DO NOT touch it with a barge pole. Behind every scheme is a schemer.
Wherever possible go via PAYE direct to the agency, and not PAYE via a third party payroll Co, however depending on how long you intend to do agency work will determine how you accrue your holiday pay. If your only considering agency work short term then they may suggest paying your holiday pay on top of the rate offered, so that when you do take holidays they won`t be any actual holiday pay. But if your considering doing agency work as a long term career then they could offer (or you could ask for) accumulated holiday pay, where where you accrue actual paid leave and receive money while your off.
Boris has said he’s going to level every thing up , no-one will be left behind , I’m sure it will include holiday pay for everyone

How many days CPC did you receive in 8 years?

No it is not right, if they have not provided the cpc and what not go ask for your money … or go to acas or a solicitor.
No employer has to provide the dcpc for you it’s just more convenient and cost effective for them to do so, iirc Harris in Southampton used to deduct a few quid a week to pay for the dcpc

Pound to a pinch of snuff they didn’t “make you” take holiday - they said you’d only get Statutory Sick Pay (about £90 a week) if you went on the Sick, and gave you the option of using your holiday instead if you wanted to. More fool you for taking that option.

And you believe him? Isnt it just a soundbite for the papers? He hasnt actually got a single policy to level anything up.
What does “levelling up” even mean? Levelling up to who?
