Currently work for Juice driving agency based in Wakefield, not done any driving for a few months now does anybody know if Asda are still using agency? because i’m now seeing alot of there trailers been pulled by Ken Mallinson who are based in Barnsley.
Ring Richard Oldfield at Drivers Plus Bradford 01274 601397 he will give you as much work for ASDA out of Doncaster and Normanton working as a subby via Ken Mallinson as you can do.
£115 Mon Fri
£145 Sat
£175 Sun
I realise its not a thousand a week like some on here get, but a sat/sun + week days gets you £665 which if you go the Ltd co way gets you about £550+ take home.

Speak to Jonny at manpower in dewsbury. He’s a spot on guy and has always found me work when I’ve needed it. I’m from Wakefield too and they are the only ones I’ve had any luck with.
Gloria.
As to Rob K remarks, ring up and ask, or try it and see, they are reasonable clean trucks, the works not a killer, the money is ok, don’t like it, don’t do it.

I don’t need to try it and see as a) I don’t drive anymore and b) when I did drive I did plenty of driving for Asda there so I know exactly what is involved.
My point (not made particularly well) was re the current trend of companies paying by the shift rather than by the hour. As I said, I bet those figures are not for 8 hours. If you tried to leave when your 8 hours were up I bet that Asda would say that you’re booked for 12/15 hours or something like that. In the old days your shift was 8 hours by default unless otherwise stated, ie. when you’d done your 8 hours then you could finish unless you chose to work overtime.
Did not mean you in particular Rob, I meant anybody interested in the job, ring and ask.
Off the topic, does anyone know Rob Wood ex Global freight logistics ltd,he shared the yard with Jimmy Gilespie from JEG international,in Millenium bus.pk,Wakefield, not far from Andy Gee`s yard.
