I have completed some work recently as a freelance driver but the work is a little slow. i was thinking about joining an agency. Does anyone know of any decent ones in Tyne and Wear or Durham areas.

It depends on what type of work you are after. Blue arrow, Newcastle, will put you into dhl & nampak, money started around £9 ph. I found them ok to work for. Velocity, Sunderland, will put you into fowler welch, money started around £7.75ph. There is one in south shields, it’s changed it’s name again, will put you into ASDA, rate varied depending on shift, mainly fri, sat & sun. ok to work for but will try to push you into joining an umbrella company.
