I’m in the process of being made redundant and would like to know if anyone has experience of any good agencies in Brum. I was on with Best Connection many moons ago and they were pretty decent then, but that was before all this umbrella/Ltd co nonsense. I don’t really want to get involved in all that and would like to go PAYE.

Best Connection is nothing like the agency it used to be. In the West Midlands it is forever flooding the govt jobs site with totally non existent vacancies that are replicated work for word at its branches on other areas. Some of them even say ‘dcpc would be helpful’ as they been using the same ads for so long now.
I would tend to go for dedicated driving agencies, rather than agencies where it is just an offshoot of their main business.
