I think it depends what company your working for via the agency , I know 7.5 work for ups was paying £9 an hour and Royal Mail arctic work pays £15.50 and £ 17.50 ph which is pretty good as long as you get work every day …
£15.50-£17.50ph is good enough regardless of how many hours you get, even the flat 8.
I was recently on, as self employed,
£8.90 for the first 8hrs £12.60 overtime
£12.60 Saturdays Flat Rate
£15.60 Sunday Flat Rate
Guaranteed 10hrs, was acceptable I suppose, better than some in my area in any case !

True and now I’ve been in the job for 8 months now , however the first 3 months were paid at £9ph for weekdays … It was just getting past the first 3 months …
