After passing Cat C can you drive whilst waiting licence

Hi All,
After passing Cat C can you drive Cat C vehicles before your licence comes back from DVLA or do you have to wait for your licence??
(I have had to keep hold of my pass certificate and send it a few days later)

Also, if you do PCV work during the week (Domestic hours) can you work one day LGV (EU Regs) without breaking the law. (Getting confused between the two regs).

You can using the pass cert but most employers and agencies will want to see the actual licence

The domestic regs hours count as other work hours for the EU regs so cannot count as rest and doing EU regs at any time in a week means that EU rest regs apply
Domestic reg records are ok as EU other work records

Agreed, the only time you might get away with ONLY the pass certificate is when you’ve upgrading to say Class 1 with an existing employer.
Mine allowed me, and I’m sure that is only because they knew me!
