I know this is a longshot, but did any of you more mature drivers come across an old AEC Mandator which was first operated by Ben Shaws/Suncharm Huddersfield, this was my uncle’s old motor and it had a Fuller 10 speed Road Ranger fitted instead of the standard 6 speed? it wasn’t the fastest motor but I remember running up Windy Hill empty at 60mph pulling a 33ft Crane Fruehauf tandem axle flatbed trailer in mid 70s - happy days!
