Advise wanted on best way to remove paint from curtainsider

As title I have an 2008 curtainsider with my company name on it, I want to remove logo before selling anyone recommend best way to do this.
Many thanks

Is it actually a decal or real paint ? If a decal placed there by a sign writter / graphic company a hot air gun should remove it although it is a slow task because you do not want the curtain to get too hot.
If it’s real paint then solvent seems the only way to remove it. You could always find a latex paint that matches the rest of the curtain and paint over the name.

I hope this helps.

Chop the top off and sell it as a flat

turn them inside out, seems to work with socks and underpants…

Buy 25 litres of cheap cellulose thinners and keep rubbing it in. Mark

‘Sticky stuff remover’ from halfords.

Stuff is exactly what your looking for, bloody magic stuff.

Most of the forklift drivers round here will have the paint knocked off in next to no time.

Cellulose thinners , loads of rags and loads of elbow grease, an absolute ball ache of a job :frowning: :frowning: :frowning:

If I were you, if it’s painted on I’d seek advice from a paintshop for the best way to go about that one. Our local one wanted £50 to take just my sigwriting off, just a name only on cab & body sides & tail gate, but it was only tape & I decided to have a go with a hot air gun & did it myself in an hour or so. You may be able to put something solid behind the curtains or remove them, lay the curtains on a flat floor out of the wind & gently warm the signwriting up with a heat gun & peel it off if yours is also tape.

Try brake cleaner.

£1500 will buy you a new set of curtains.
and it will make the trailer look like it’s worth much more.
