advice

hi

I had my medical in the week and I finally got my D2 form though today so I can now start sorting things out to get my training started. I have a choice of 2 schools local to me 2start training who do packages, and also bypass who do by the lesson, has anyone used ether of these and can recommend which one to use, I have seen they are both on the school list on here so know they are both descent. also I seen somewhere on a post about a site where you can pay to get access to the theory training all part of it including the cpc modules, I remember it offered on one of the options a free retest if you take it but cant find the post or the site can anyone help please.

thanks for any help or advice you can give me

Hi knocker, it sounds like you are in my neck of the woods. (Unlucky pal!)

I’m aware of both of those schools, even though I didn’t train with either of them. But ash 001 did train with 2 Start, and I did my ADR with ByPass. The guys at ByPass are nice, friendly and seem a good bunch, their coffee machine is also free!

As for 2 Start, here are Ash’s training blogs:

What I will say though is that neither of these trainers has it’s own test or reversing facility, and they take you elsewhere to do that, so maybe not as convenient as some others further afield.

Hope that helps and drop me a PM if you have any more questions!

ll have a look though them I think I might look a bit further afield and see what there is

thanks for pointing me in the right direction

That thread was a good read

I have an assessment booked tomorrow with by pass so I will see what there like and go from there hopefully it will go well and I can get on sorting the rest of my training

Glad it was helpful mate and hope all goes well on your assessment!

thanks ill keep this updated hopefully it will and ill get booked in and get on with training quick

I ad assessment drive to find out how long a course I would need and I think it went quite well I enjoyed it and the instructor was really nice and tried to relax me in to it. I’m sorting out on Monday what time I can have off for my theory’s and then I can book the course if all goes well for mid September

I have my theory’s booked on Thursday this week so hopefully by Friday I will be booking my practical with luck

Passed all 3 tests today so booking my practical tomorrow it can’t come quick enough
