What is the best sat nav out there? Not to bothered on prices really as long as I know its worth it. I have been relying on knowing what roads to take and keeping an eye on signs but feel like having a sat nav for an aid would make my life less stressful

.
Doing it the way you are doing it, will give you valuable knowledge, learning how to find places, and being able to use you head, instead of blindly following the Sat-nav… A Sat nav will still send you to the wrong end of the estate…
I’ve always used snooper but I think the new Tom Tom ones have better traffic congestion avoidance software. The snooper one falls down on this.
Google maps on your phone is the best tool for finding places and traffic avoidance but obviously doesn’t take in to account bridge heights or weight limits.
