Advice wanted

Am really thinking of making the move to Canada, been looking at SK and Manitoba, have read loads of horror stories, but not really any good ones,so can anyone advice any GOODISH companies to contact.Yes i understand that your gonna get used and abused etc,but if im out the UK i can handle that,i want to better my life, but sometimes you have to put up with crap to make things better,at the momoent i drive continental doing hanging meat, away for week, not a day driver or supermarket driver. i just love truck driving but hate the UK so much i want out.
Ye i will admit i would like to drive the states from Canada, longer the better, but here`s plenty of time for that,so if anyone can advise any of the better of the bad companies  i would much appreciate if,thanks :grimacing:

Well said. If you don’t like minus 30f for a few months and several feet of snow it’s ok though

Couple of bad months a year is better than 10 months of crap weather a year, and no don`t mind the cold.

pm sent.

You will only get used and abused with some companies, and I have found out that it is NOT ‘the Canadian way’ and you do not have to ■■■■ it up… there are some good honest companies in Canada, you just have to find one.
Good luck.
P.S. If you’re really ‘scaniamad’ you will be disappointed lol.

Try this :

Canada and US. Chilled products. As far as I know they have a Volvo VN series.

Check a Princes driver blog (translated): http://translate.google.pl/translate?hl=pl&sl=auto&tl=en&u=http%3A%2F%2Fnolibab3.blogspot.com%2F. Lot of interesting stuff about driving a lorry in Canada&US. According to him moneys not big (up to 4-5k CAD/mth), but life`s cheaper than in UK.
