I had a diesel Saab 9-3 which had a night heater. Apparently all diesel Saabs have them they’re just not configured to run on the heater programming for some reason. Might be worth popping down the breakers to see if they have any in.

My sprinter camper has a erbaspatcher fitted from new but it only warms the engine coolant whilst driving or it warms the coolant for 45 mins after parking up so i fitted a webasto and piped it in to the blown air pipes so it warms the shower tray/bathroom floor.if you had it on all night it would go on low power shut down after 12 hrs or so.
Check out canal boat yards/ dealers. They have them fitted normally with a water heater too.

Most common rail engines have 12v night heaters now, and so do tractors, forklifts, JCB and dozers

just to add the diesel rover 75, and the landrover freelander mk1 also have diesel heater’s on them…
