Have a look at the rota pattern below and give me your thoughts on how many “rest days” could be legally worked if this was followed.Its a rolling pattern so you drop down a line every week until you get to the bottom and then you start again. Average shift length is no more than 10 hours…

I’m afraid it will be difficult to answer until we are sure exactly what your working pattern is.
You’ve started the week on a Sunday but as you know for the regulations the week starts on a Monday, and if you try working out how many days off you can have based on a week that starts on a Monday you could find yourself in all kinds of trouble.

Yes Number (2) is correct, Weve had the argument so many times beofre about the rota been out of kilter with the “fixed working week” its untrue.

But just checking in Week Ten you have highlighted it green in the top table in the extended table below it isn’t…

I would say it should be the later because you are reduceing in week 11?

When I first uploaded the image to Photobucket week ten did indeed have a cell highlighted green but when I realised the mistake I deleted the image on Photobucket and replaced it with a new one.
That was before I posted it here though so I’ve no idea why you’ve seen it.

Are you referring to the Friday in week 12 which could be taken instead of the Sunday ?
