Advice on being self employed

Hi

I want to buy my own truck unit and work as self employed.

I have no experience in trucks.

I heard from many people that HGV 1 CLASS driving has good profit.

I have spoken so some drivers as well they can for each load you can get £200-£300 perload.

I want to know and understand is this is correct?

How much a new driver can make if he buys own lorry?

how is the market in West Midlands?

Does self employed drivers can get 2-3 loads a day @ 200-300£ per load?

Please advise me.

Many Thanks

My advice is to pass your test and get at least a couple of years experience.

Also take a business studies course as it’s clear you have little understanding of running a business. The turnover of the business is irrelevant. It’s keeping an eye on the costs as well and ensuring there’s more income than outgoing. So talk of £200 or £300 per load doesn’t make sense.

You worry me tbh. But good luck.
