I need some advice on the people who had this issues before
I did some work for a firm for a period of 6 days work (I left there after writing a letter saying that I am not suitable to the job due to the long hours against the pay structure)
That was 3 weeks ago - to date, I have not being paid for the 6 days worked. I have contacted them asking for the pay and my P45 and I still not had anything in return. The firm in question weekly pays people.
What would be my next step?

Hi xlthunter, I’d suggest that you send them a recorded delivery letter asking for your wages, but did you check whether you’re supposed to be paid weekly or monthly?? 
If you’re paid either weekly or monthly, did you have to work a period ‘in hand’ before you get on their pay system?
They might not owe you anything just yet mate…

I understand this - the period I worked was 8 - 15 May 08 (6 days worked on Thurs, Fri and Mon-Thurs with Thursday being my last day) So with working in hand it has being 3 weeks since I lefted. And yes I had to work a week in hand. But I had nothing - £0!
They are weekly paid, they told me that - even seen the wage slips as well from other drivers - unless they are getting ■■■■ poor wages for a months work. Average about £380 after tax.
