I’m sure you’ve heard this many times before but after passing my class 2 test I am struggling to find work of any sort. All this 2 years experience malarkey im seeing everywhere… I’m not fussy and have lived on a farm all my life so i dont mind the dirty work or graft. I would like to get into livestock haulage, ideally. Just seems that getting your foot on the first step of this ladder is the hardest part. ADR Network told me i need a years experience before they can be of any use Any help/info would be much appreciated, thanks.
Print out some CVs then go knocking on doors in the mornings especially on Mondays
Have all your work and night out kit in the boot of your car
do like the first answer said to do but if you really want to do this for a living try a week with someone as second man for free on yer hols might just give you a foot in the door and or see what the job is really like or convince any future employer that you will sign a contract for a set number of yrs and if you leave before that you agree to pay some sort of xs back to them not ideal I know but again might just get you a foot in the door I was luck straight to class 1 and straight onto artic work at 21 but employers like this a hard to find you can also wait till September I think there may be a few jobs up for grabs then
