What’s wrong with the A34/M4 from Southampton to Bristol? Straight dual carriage ways, no restrictions, and rarely any holdups.

Isn’t that the same bit they closed for weeks last year? How has it managed to get in a crappy state so soon? Or is it one of those roads they’re always coming back to dig up again and again, like the A308 at Hampton Court?
