Lately I see an increase in the begging on TV.
Save the children.
Water aid.
To name just a few.
What really gets me is they all tend to show African 3Rd world children. Don’t we have enough children in this country that need help too.
All these so called third world countries have dictators and leaders that own several private jets and luxury super yachts .
I find these advertisements annoying , along with volunteers in high streets that want your money to stop cruelty to donkeys or tipper drivers .
Tv advertising that is designed to make you feel guilty by showing a wide eyed child crying .
Don’t be fooled by it .
Since the info on executive salaries and those charities which try to hide “admin” costs came out recently, I noticed a lot of these begging charities are the same as the worst offenders.
They are also the same ones who ask you to donate by phone to help children somewhere, then call you back and use the donation to beg more money off you so what you paid is never used to help anyone…except the profits of the company who are paid by the charity to call you back!
Dont know how any of them are still legal.
So many of those third world countries booted us out 50 odd years ago.Africa with its mineral wealth should not be going hungry.I cant see how our donations are going to get past corrupt officials in the charities and in the recieving countries.

Yes we do but it doesnt tug at the heart strings the same way to see a British child with the slogan “living in poverty” while there is a parent puffing away on ■■■■ and a 55" plasma screen in the background!

Usually get begging adverts around tea time aswell money for this child help her stop walking 5 miles for water every day sharing the water hole with animals,what about helping the animals aswell lol.
Mind you the pics of kids covered in flies would be useful in the summer put 1 on the balcony so I could have the doors open and no flies would get in job done sorted lol

The street charity collectors get on my wick, if you ignore them, they give you attitude .
See them in Msa door ways with their begging bowls, I tell them I have limited time for tacho breaks .
You try and have a shower,eat a meal ,grab a coffee in 45 minutes .
Seen flyers to give your ruck sack to boat people crossing the Aegean sea , so they don’t lose their pocesions in the dinghy made of a tent .
Charities that want your old trainers for the benefit parasites waiting to get a free ride on your lorry while waiting in Calais .
