I’ve just rang Redrose training to be told that the don’t do ADR courses at Preston any longer. Therefore i’ll have to do a 100 mile round trip every day to do the course in Bolton, and i can’t be arsed. However, I did my class one with them many moons ago and i rate them as being one of the best in the country. I’m probably a bit biased because i past.
So my nearest place is Lancaster training services, But i don’t know what they’re like. And i don’t know of any other firms that do ADR within a reasonable distance from Blackpool.
If anyone can recommend a decent firm, or has any comments about Lancaster training, then fire away.

Get the train to Taunton then taxi to Wivelescombe and have a week down in the scenic Exmoor area and do the Adr with Friendberry training as they are cheap and will sort out the accomodation for you.

I’ve no idea of your timescale, but please be aware that it can take up to five weeks from the date of your exams before you get your ADR card from SQA.
I do know of other providers, but they’re slightly further afield.
Depending on who’s paying… it might be nice to know that a college doesn’t charge VAT.

I do know a couple of the providers in the list above, but I’m afraid that Doug isn’t one of them.
Some providers are ‘in house’ for one of the larger haulage firms, but this isn’t indicated in my list.
Such providers will sometimes allow external candidates to book on a course, but not all will.
I may be wrong, But are you an ADR instructor Dave?
If so, Where do you do your courses?
