To expand a little - each part of it is a pass or fail with one part that must be passed to enable passes on the others

Hi newboy23,

To answer your question, ADR is a pass/fail test, but…

There are a number of separate exams, which are all pass/fail.

The actual number of exams you take will depend on which choices you make when you book your ADR course.

Each exam is treated separately and you need a score of 70% in each exam.

If you fail an exam, your other exam passes are kept safe until you’ve got the full set of what you chose, then you’ll get your ADR card. This can vary a little, but I think it might prove confusing if I tried to explain every possible eventuality, cos the system is quite complicated.
