Any idea of the rough cost of adr training to cover tanks and solids?
Mine cost £539 at ritchies in Glasgow last year minus a £200 ila grant. I then worked 6 months at carntyne doing the whisky extra £1ph than normal, so that paid the course easy.

Thanks, I thought it’ll be around the £500 mark but it’s hard to find actual prices on the net, unless I’m looking in the wrong places
I paid about £600 warrington
paid £750 for full adr 5 day course… .it included 28 hrs towards cpc though so might as well kill 2 birds with 1 stone so they say. .
Regarding DCPC approved ADR courses -
Ask for the ADR course price on its own then ask for the dcpc ADR course price if their course is dcpc approved - not all are so check
It seems most ADR 3.5 day courses that are dcpc approved get 21 hours but not many ADR tanks courses (1.5 days) are dcpc approved for the extra 7 hours - again, check on it
I think many ADR courses that are also DCPC approved cost the trainee about £25 extra per 7 hours (£75 for 21 hours) on top of the basic ADR course price
Thanks guy’s and I’ll look into the cpc thing, I thought all ADR courses counted toward the dcpc
Mines ran out and I have been offered work if I go through it again.
£200 grant from ila Scotland, should check if this is available in your area from another source obviously.
Think its £200 a year aswell which will come in handy.
Might do level D security next year if thats the case.
Extra £20 for an approved cpc course.
Still £360 and a week not earning .
