As far as I know a vast majority of ADR licences in the uk are issued by the Scottish qualifications authority for us in the uk & Europe, what happens to these licences if Scotland is no longer part of uk or European union? Are they still valid ?
It was only given to the SQA to give a few scots some employment, it will swiftly be brought back to England together with all the banks, the HMRC, all the other civil service jobs, the DoD, the insurance companies, the pension funds etc.
Can’t wait for the Scots to vote yes, that will increase our employment, our GDP, our wages, our future and we no longer have to subsidise them.

Do you have some official source for this info please?
Wheelnutt,
As far as I’m aware all current ADR paper licences and the newer ADR cards will remain valid because they have been correctly issued by SQA. Scotland’s national status subsequent to the vote won’t change that.
As far as ADR cards issued after the vote are concerned, they’ll still have been correctly issued.
There is a contract in force between the DfT and SQA, so it might be interesting to see what happens after the vote. Up to the date and time of this post, I’ve not heard anything that should cause anybody any concern.

I think you should read and watch some current affairs wheelnut, and I think you’ll find that it’s Scotland that subsidises Westminster.
I have my refresher next week , final day being Friday …

Good luck mate, and please remember that your new ADR card will be acceptable in 47 countries (including England) whichever way the Scottish vote goes.
BTW, please don’t forget to take a (proper) passport photo along to the course, cos you’ll need to stick it on the new photo-form that you’ll have to fill in on day #1 along with your normal ADR course joining form.

They don’t issue them for France, they are controlled and issued here in France.

And there speaks the words of wisdom haha … good, take the banks with pleasure please cos it were the London shysters in Westminster who bailed them out to the tune of over a whole years UK GDP !!! wont have so far to go to get it back then
And BTW it were Gordon Brooooon who plundered the pension funds for millions of pounds, so not a lot to go back south ( him who sold the UK bullion off for £9 billion less then value) clever people them english

There won’t be anything official, the SQA is only a small ■■■■ in a very large wheel when it comes to moving services South of the border once Scotland votes Yes.
