Not only did I pass my C+E today, YAYYYYY!!!, I also received my ADR certificate. Now heres the question, I took 6 modules but only 1 2 & 3 are showing on my certificate. As these were the the longest (& hardest) modules I find it hard to believe that i failed the others but as they are not showing does it mean i did??
Didn’t come with any explanation or with a examination result sheet, just certificate.
Which modules did you take
As 1 is explosives but DieselDave might be able to shed some light on this
Think I have worked it out. Took class 1 (explosive substances), Class 2 (Gases) & Class 3 (Flammable Liquids), Tankers Module & packages module. Got confused because the core module does cover the other classes & sub divisions but obviously you cannot transport them without doing complete modules on them.

Hi johnnyboy201,
I think you’ve worked it out correctly.
One way to think of this is that you need to gain a pass on core module to get you onto the printing press.
From the info that you’ve given, I make it that you have attempted six exams and passed all six.
I think you did:
A, B or C 001 core
A, B or C 002 tanks
A, B or C 003 packages
A, B or C 004 UN Class 1
A, B or C 005 UN Class 2
A, B or C 006 UN Class 3
Congratulations on passing your ADR exams!!
yeah those were the modules. Also did a radioactive awareness one so i could carry radioactive packages but no mention of that
Thanks for that, just hope it helps me to get some work!! Have had my rigid licence for 17 years but not been using it full time so my experience is limited

Radioactive awareness should get you some kind of a certificate from the training provider stating that you attended the course, because ADR requires that such training must be documented.
However, it would take one more (quite expensive) full day in the classroom to get UN Class 7 added to your ADR licence, and the exam for UN Class 7 would be A, B or C 010.
wil knock on some doors & ask some questions about it tomorrow. Problem is I took my ADR through the Army. Seems the MoD, although a government department is not an acredited trainer, so the ADR training will not count towards my CPC.

I thought you might be in the military once you’d said which UN Classes you’d taken.
At the present time, the military seem to have missed a trick when it comes to guys leaving for civvy street.
One of the issues is the date of passing your LGV “C” test, because it’s possible that you’ll need to do the initial DCPC before any periodic DCPC hours can be credited to your account at DVLA.
If you’d qualified to take DCPC periodic hours with the ADR course you did, you’d have possibly got a max of 21hrs (but more likely 14hrs) for the ADR modules that you took.
Please check with DVLA, Swansea as to whether you have to take an initial DCPC.
Thanks Dieseldave, think I will have a check with them. Someone told me i would need to do it, but my trainer was certain I wouldn’t. Fingers crossed I dont.
