Sorry if i sound stupid here but i have my first adr load today as i passed last week. Im heading into london and i know about the tunnel codes but im not sure if there are any adr restrictions over the dartford bridge going southbound. I have 8 pallets of tc e. Not sure if i can go straight over or will have to stop and shiw them my paperwork.
Any advice would be completely appreciated. Thanks
First thing first, you say you passed last week, but have you got the card yet? I’m assuming you meant it came last week.
You can use the Dartford bridge with no restrictions, but stop at the tanker bay (dvsa checkpoint) if returning with hazardous before the tunnel. Incidently, one to remember if the bridge is shut, you must pull into the compound on the left at the start of the bridge before using the tunnel diversion.
And you can’t use any of the east London tunnels, or woolwhich ferry with hazardous on.
