ADR Question

Guys

I did something foolish today…watched a you tube video of some guy who states during his blog or what ever you call them things that he was loaded with 2 pallets …one with 500gallons of sulfuric acid and the other one with chlorine…the blogger didnt have an ADR licence so my question was is should he be really transporting this stuff and not be qualified

Answers on a post it note…

Must have been a big pallet. 11 x 45 gallon drums.

Something not right here - thats 2250kg on one pallet plus container(s).

Surely this sort of quantity would be in ibc’s anway.

I’ve never seen more than 4 x 205 lt on a pallet.

Sammy - Maybe you should link the youtube clip, as 500 gallons on a pallet definitely isn’t right!
As for whether he can carry those items, it depends on the package/container sizes, as they may fall within limited quantities.

IIRC, its 8 ton before you need plates with regards to LQ.

I watched this the other day, if it’s the same one. He said it was 50 gallons of each, I think. It was https://www.youtube.com/user/fastasfox, but I can’t remember which video of his it was.

Wot did ya foolish?

That ought to be a big pallet, if its Imperial gallons. Nothing will surprise me today.
Once I had a load - 1 bag 45 000 pounds, believe it or not with green “dirt” from Idaho mine used in purifying water or melting snow substances.
I wouldn’t believe if someone had told me about it…
