Had a text from ADR Network (haven’t worked for them for ages), saying that Co-Op Avonmouth rates have been put up £1.50 per hour across all shifts.
Nobbie’s must be struggling to get drivers to cover all the runs!

Nobbies been struggling since the got the contract… I have heard that they will probably be thrown out next year due to miss management and poor driver relations
Drivers are leaving by the truckload, I started there the first week it opened and handed my notice in last week. Out of the 24 that started the same week as me only 3 will be left when I go.
The BIG BIG problem with working there is the us and them situation with the drivers who transferred in and us new entrants. The money and t & c’s are completely different and added together with the bad atmosphere, poor organisation, long hours and crap rotas is a recipe for disaster.
Steer clear

We’ve had several drivers come to our place and they can’t muster up a good word about the whole set up.
What is the hourly rate down there?

Yes we do and the hose is at least 6 ft long and we have some kind of brush too although I think someone may have tried to scrub the grease off the 5th wheel with it !!
Regarding comments regarding vehicle washes at coop, when they built the Newhouse depot they built the wash in such a way that an artic couldn’t get in and out as it was to tight. Suppose that would be practice for shop deliveries then, lol.
I couldn’t imagine sitting in that que to de kit after a shift. It’s normally double stacked the whole length of the building and some.
The trick is to get a backshift or night shift then theres no queue. Or get a fulltime job with co op and do what u bloody want
