I had a look at HSA carraige of dangerious goods, and theres a section on it small loads/exemptions Im sure if its 3tonne it may fall under this catagory but class 9 being miscellanous could fall under packages.

It might be covered by the carraige of small goods, I dont know what the limit is, all I know is we can carry up to 300kgs of clinical waste without an ADR licence. But anything over it and its a ADR job.

It’s impossible to say from that little Information.

If you know the UN number or proper shipping name it would be easier to advise.

There are two basic exemptions that would apply;
Limited Quantities - the packages would need to have the LQ mark on them. Basically a diamond black at the top and bottom and white in the middle. If they all were then yes you can.
Or
Small loads threshold. This product would have to be in Transport Category 4 for this to be ok.

Sorry mate but I’m afraid it’s not quite that simple.

To give you a good answer to your question, and as mentioned above, I’d need

UN Number and Proper Shipping Name, plus the size/type and number of packages.

Also as already mentioned above, there are a number of exemptions as to how it might be possible to move this load without an ADR licence.

However, there may also be some form of exemption provided by a Special Provision or multilateral agreement, hence me asking about the way in which the load is packaged.

I can give you a good answer, provided that I’m playing with a full deck. :smiley:

I thought I’d ask whilst I was waiting for the office to decide what to do.( As I said I’m not sure I can)

Don’t do ADR myself so don’t know much about it, only the ADR awareness course, (which I guess came in useful haha)

If I happen to ‘try’ collect this stuff again I’ll remember the other info you required and put it back in this post
