Ill book it tomorrow then.
If you’ve yet to do your DriverCPC check before booking if the ADR course is JAUPT approved and it will contribute to your 35 hours…may as well benefit from it if you can and save your money.
If you’ve got your CPC already, can you leave your ADR till after September and get the 3 or 4 days added to 2014-2019 DriverCPC instead…?
As i passed my test after sept 2009 i got issued my cpc card that runs out in 2015
I have done the fors and crossrail courses so there are 14 hours there and the adr will do the rest

If no guaranteed job after passing then I would wait until after sept 10th and get 21 hours for the next 35 hours of dcpc
Very valid point Rog. My ADR elapsed in March (I don’t require it presently) and as the price difference between a refresher course and a full course is negligible I’m opting to wait until September before renewing so I can take advantage of the DCPC bollox.
Onwards & upwards disco, no one ever gave me nowt for free.
What you have to remember is that an ADR course does not teach you anything about driving tankers, so if you want to try tankers, give it a couple of months on a milk or edible tanker, probably much more chance of a job too around Purfleet, Erith and East London.
There are a lot of people I know who thought tanker driving was for them, only to find it is too regimented with the loading and cleaning.

Thats a very good point tanker works not for every one

Because your dCPC runs out in 2015, you can (and should) already work towards your next dCPC, you’re into your 5yr window.
So, get your ADR hours uploaded and that can count upto 28hrs (depending on course provider and what you take) towards your next dCPC.
