just signed up with adr network doncaster agy. what are they like to work for. i know all about the agency game but would want to know a real opinion of this agy. my background is class 1 license for 2 yrs but only 6months experience. i came from a rail background but im sick to death of it and want to get into driving as the job opportunity seems a lot better as tbe railways has some very bad agy. cheers all
ive just read that all tesco drivers are in 90 day consultation, is this adr agy just filling a gap until its flooded with ES help needed on a decisoin before i pack in a job to go to adr… cheers all
A mate of mine works for ADR donny as you say it’s tesco shop deliveries,he does some crap times,but gets a good bonus for doin them £9 per hour,they recently asked him to work out of tesco Hinckley & he got petrol paid,plus a bonus I could not believe,after the 90 days consultation they will shut donny transport operation,& do it from goole & barlbrough,which might be nearer for a miller

Does Barlborough and Goole have chilled & frozen? I’ve been to goole and thought it was ambient only?
I’ve also worked for ADR, because I only do a couple of shifts a week I was always last on the list so don’t bother with them anymore!

They are not closing donny tesco just the transport operation,trailers will be loaded at donny,using units from other stobart depots,it’s just a cynical way to change donny drivers terms & conditions
UPDATE 13 SEP 12:
Eddie Stobart faces a strike at its Doncaster Distribution Centre, after
drivers voted for industrial action.
Over 150 drivers out of 183 voted in favour of striking.
It comes after Eddie Stobart announced that it would remove the
transport function from the Doncaster DC.
