Hi Robert,

That’s actually being worked on at the moment, but it isn’t ‘live’ yet.

:bulb: Please watch your inbox for a Private Message.

How easy is it? Think I might do ADR instead of the other 3 days of cpc crap

The ADR is not hard at all just listen to your instructor make some notes answer multi choice questions at the end

Hi trubster,

From my 10 years experience of teaching it, I’d say it’s quite easy, provided that you have a good tutor, you listen carefully and ask about anything said that you don’t understand.
The only really daft question is the one that a person didn’t ask.

Some people think they’ll duck asking questions for fear of the rest of the class thinking they’re silly, but if a person did that, then they still wouldn’t know the answer on exam day.

It’s always best to ask, because the tutor can’t always tell when one of the guys hasn’t quite grasped something.

An ADR course is frequently what a person makes of it.

Do you still teach it? If so where are you and how much is it?

I would sooner pay for a course that is going to teach me something than listen to a load of crap on a DCPC course

The best tutor I had was a guy called dave @mantra in Manchester, god he was awesome  . To be fair the adr course is boring and a good tutor makes all the difference. The front of the boat fell off

I’m doing a 3day ADR course at start of November. It’s just core, tanks and class 3 (flammable liquids) but I only drive part time so couldn’t justify spending out on full 5day course and extra exams. Looking forward to it

Local pie and butty shops make good money when a course is running.Ask the tutor to see videos or photos of serious accidents with Adr.That gets the classes attention.

Hi Toddy5453,

That’s a good choice if that’s all you need, and it’s one of the advantages of taking an ADR course under UK rules, because there are some ADR countries whose training regime doesn’t allow this.

:bulb: Good luck, and please remember that I’m here if you think you’re getting stuck with any of it.

Dave

Thanks for previous help that you sent me in pm. I will let you know how I get on during course and the outcome. Hopefully I will pass I’m using swift transport training in Belfast. The guy running it Tom seems like a decent guy. If there is any info you can point me in direction of to read or watch prior to course that would be great.

Thanks :grimacing:

Is there actually anything at all out there that can be obtained as a direct result of having a full ADR?

Hi Winseer,

Sorry mate, but I’m not quite sure what you mean… Could you re-phrase your question please??
