Adelaide Insurance

Seen the advert on here for them does anybody use them and are they any cheaper.
They seem to have got hold of my house phone and mobile last year and am plagued by calls from them. Despite telling them i did not require their service. every time my car insurance is due.
Be interesting to see if they are any cheaper. My present insurers price went down this year so i have stayed put. Must be my age, you get good discounts when you pass 100 hehe.

I use them, beat my quote by over a £100, also protected my no claims and lashed in breakdown cover for nothin,

I now pay £630 a year fully comp on a 2012 vauxhall insignia Sri and I live in the ghetto in Liverpool ! And am only 25

I also use them, £200 fully comp, NCP, courtesy car etc… on an x trail.

Yes, would definitely recommend them, I’d suggest you set up a Confused.com account using a name and password you don’t use anywhere else, get your cheapest price, phone Adelaide and tell them what your cheapest quote was, give them your Confused log-in details and they will match the cover and go cheaper.

The first year I used Adelaide, my current insurer, Admiral, wanted £600, Adelaide cut it to £290. The next year, Adelaide’s renewal quote was £240, I got a quote from Confused for £199 with better cover than other quotes costing much more, I phoned Adelaide and gave them my Confused log-in details and 30 minutes later the girl phoned back and offered me the same cover for £189, Fully Comp on a group 14 car.

It has been discussed in a few threads before, most people (but not all) have saved a lot of money with them. They specialise in HGV drivers because they consider us to be better than average drivers who additionally do not use our cars a lot and leave them in a secure parking area for much of the time.

Always shop around, my renewal premium with them was double what I actually paid as a new customer with another company. I never renew with the same company, a different one each year and I save a fortune.

Thanks guys answered my question perhaps i will give them a try next year

As Harry Monk said.Get cheapest quote of comparison sites and they guarantee to beat it.

£350 fully comp for Toyota Celica 1.8, in Bradford 11, which is one of the worst postcodes in the UK due to the amount of uninsured drivers.

Can’t remember what i pay as her indoors sorts it but i do know it was a good saving on other quotes that i recieved at the time and they said they could better any quote i got. How good they are when your’e involved in a claim i couldn’t say.

when my insurance was up for renewal as a member of IAM I was approached by this company for a quote and it was 3 times what I was already paying for my renewal… I advise you shop about a bit.

I have my rangerover 4.6 HSE insured with them fully comp everything covered cant remember what the excess was but for £295 all in I was’nt complaining
