The vehicle would lose some power, apart from that there should be no short term effects.
Also.
unless your employer really really likes you, id keep it topped up, running out or contaminating it gets very expensive, at out dealership its a good few K’s, new pump, new injector, tank and all pipe work off and cleaned, you’ll be okay literally to the next fuel station providing its very close, but much more and you’ll be having to beg your boss 
plus it puts a fault code in memory thats un-deleteable for 400 days on Renaults, so if you get stopped, involved in a accident etc etc and they do a check, they’ll know its been running with out, which leads to not meeting emissions and all the legal stuff that goes with it

I had a wee in the adblue tank of a few wagons before I left my last job… but they deserved it…
Been there done that lmao… Loss of power, not good when you’re loaded to the ■■■■■ Anyway, bottle of water will sort most of them out to keep you going.
