Add another vehicle to O-Licence?

I need already to add another lorry to our quite new existing o-licence,ive got no more space on olicence for another vehicle so;

Dont tell me i need to apply all over again,the application form, the ad in the local paper blah blah?? :blush:

Please say no??

Unfortunately the answer is yes, you do need to go through the whole palaver again, but with a slight amendment - you would be changing the details of an existing licence. We have found ourselves in this situation on a couple of occasions, and eventually applied for more than we needed. If you have got the finance there to support more trucks than you need (it doesn’t have to be actual cash, but can be in the form of an overdraft facility or card with sufficient ‘equity’ on it) then you have some room for additional vehicles. Apart from the application for variation fee you shouldn’t have to pay for any additional vehicles until you actually get them.

The current payment is £2 per vehicle per month paid as you need the licence for the extra lorries, up until 31st March '10, when the fees for the MOT change to include the annual cost of the vehicle fee. When your original licence comes up for renewal there will only be the usual application fee for the licence itself, and no additional vehicle fee as in the past.

I know it’s a pain the the proverbial, but look at it this way - you must be doing OK to need extra trucks so soon, especially when many other companies are going the opposite way. Good luck in your business!

Bloody hell £200 odd here to vosa £300 there to vosa another £200 for one night ad in the local paper.

Why didnt i ask for an extra space on the olicence six months ago when it was accepted.

Can anyone tell me what you need to show ,££ss available in the bank now for 3 vehicles hasnt it just gone up??
