Adblue Question

So I have driven the same truck for the last 20 months almost exclusively.

It’s a Scania R420, euro 5, '08 plate. I got out at a delivery point today, and could hear a gurgling sound. This immediately got my attention, so I turned around, it was obviously coming from the Adblue tank. As I got closer, I could hear something slightly over pressurizing, and I swear the Adblue sounded like it was boiling! I put my hand on the tank but it wasn’t particularly warm. I undid the cap and was rewarded with a hiss that lasted a couple of seconds.

All noises stopped after this, and she ran good as gold all day. I’ve never heard anything like it from her before. My knowledge of Adblue systems, is err, lacking.

So I’m curious, has anyone else had this happen? Anyone know what caused it? Is there something I can do to stop it??

Internal or external pressure…air lock in the tank breather meaning air was being sucked in when the cap was released?

External pressure.

Pumping the adblue back into the tank because you stopped?

Just leave the add blue alone.
I dont mean to sound condesending but the metering, heating and injection systems are way beyond you. And me for that matter.
Pressuried tank,Tank cap fault is to be honest ■■■■■■■■. Till it flags a light leave it alone
