I had to collect an a frame drag today and when i hocked up and tested the trailer brakes I was able to move it with out relishing the brake .( without and with air in ) Was this safe to drive on the road . When I called work they said it was ok to drive
Need more info. If it was a ratchet hand brake it could just be poorly adjusted and would make no difference to how it behaved on the road. It’s obviously illegal though - - minor detail!
If it’s an air valve I would suspect the quality of the braking system. Without an effective park brake it should be going nowhere in any case.

How can you not know if it was a ratchet? Are you telling me you didn’t check the park brake before starting to couple up?
I’m not being sarcastic, but I really don’t understand the last sentence of the last post. Can you enlighten me?
