Was not too sure which part of the Forum to post this on, so here we are.
I was looking for a company/person who is able to spot hire me a trailer (of any description) on an Ad-Hoc basis, just so I can take my old Cargo Unit out for a jolly and blow the cobwebs out of it now and again. Wouldn’t be very often - just a few afternoons per year and only for an hour or three. Also perhaps take the odd trailer for an MOT as I believe this is legal to do with a Private HGV!■■! In the Northants or South Leics area.

There is a haulage firm that hire out trailers of all different qualities 
around the Leicester area, their name escapes me but its something like Bradeley Transport or Bradeley Trailer hire

Not sure on the legalities of the private HGV towing a trailer used for commercial purposes, as there was some mither several years ago when commercial garages were towing trailers to the test station with tractor units that were not displaying an O/Licence disc. Also you’ll need to convince folk that your competant with the spanners as its usually wise to send someone who’s savvy with mechanics so that any problems have a chance of being rectified before a tester throws the trailer out with a failure…
