Does anyone know how to open the under bunk drawer when the release cable has broke,its the flat floor 2.3m so only has the one larger drawer with the fridge fitted inside it as opposed to the 2.5m with two drawers thanks in advance

Oh yes since last Thursday 
I believe its not the cable that snaps, it just comes away from the catch. Apparently you can catch the cable with something like a ruler with a hook at the end,slide it under and you can catch the cable, but I have been told it is a real pain in the harris to do. Mine went 3 times in the 3 years when I had an Actros. Luckily it was close to service time so I just let them do it.
Our fitter spoke to someone at dealers today and they told him it’s about a 4 hour job involving bed out lockers out to get to it,just wondering if there was a cheat to release the drawer to open fridge and then leave drawer open until it’s repaired
